Description:
NuBus card provides hardware RAM disk using four banks of 30-pin SIMMs (16x 4MB pictured.) Driver loads from hardware before 'Welcome to Macintosh' and seems to fault when trying to boot OS 8.1 (7.1 and 7.5 work without issue; more testing needed.) On the IIfx, sustained access speed is about 3.5MB/s, slightly higher than the 3.0MB/s RAM disks available from some RasterOps cards.
