Description:
NuBus card provides complete 80486-based hardware environment to enable MS-DOS and Windows software support on Macintosh hardware. Card provides two 72-pin SIMM slots (32-bit memory bus; 64MB pictured.) 300 series cards feature hardware video switcher with dedicated RAMDAC and soundblaster compatible audio with standard joystick/MIDI port, which are accessible via the DB-62 port breakout cable along with parallel and two serial ports. VRAM has been expanded to 2MB for 32-bit color up to 800 x 600; 16-bit color up to 1024 x 768; 8-bit color up to 1280 x 1024. Resolutions above 800 x 600 employ interpolation and work best on CRTs, though still lack clarity. This was the final NuBus model from Orange Micro.

Description:
5v 32-bit PCI card provides two external USB 1.1 ports and two external Firewire 400 ports. This first revision card is one of few (along with Sonnet Tango 1.0 and 2.0) which have an accompanying NVRAM patch to accommodate use on PowerMac 5500, 6500, and Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh systems. This flaw in the Gazelle architecture has since been patched (ext) for use with any card with PCI bridges.
